Thelma Norris Dean

Track & Field Athlete - Inducted 1976

Thelma Norris Dean began her track career in 1931 when she won the Canadian Junior Hurdles Championship.  From 1936 to 1939, she won 14 Alberta Championships in sprints and four championships in long jump.  Thelma Dean competed for Canada in long jump at the 1938 British Empire Games in Australia.
