John Patrick “Jack” Reilly

John “Jack” Reilly contributed outstanding service to many amateur sports from 1946 to 1969. He was involved with the organization of many athletic programs such as mite hockey, Little League baseball, bantam football, girl's curling, the Edmonton Baseball Association, the Edmonton Hockey Association, and the Provincial Football League. “Jack” Reilly was a member of the Amateur Athletic Union of Canada for 20 years, serving three years as its president. He was Sports Fund Inc. executive secretary for 15 years. He was a charter member and the first president of the Paralympic Sports Association. “Jack” Reilly also served as managing director for several special events, including the Olympic Boxing Trials, the British Empire Games, and Trials for Canadian Championships.
