Harold Chambers contributed outstanding service to cricket from 1930 to 1963. He organized the Calgary Cricket Umpires' Association in 1930; organized junior cricket in Calgary in 1935; re-organized the Alberta Cricket Association in 1937; and, organized the first Canadian junior cricket tournament in 1939. Harold Chambers was an executive member of the Calgary and Alberta associations numerous times.
