Eddy Mark Shaske
Trapshooting Athlete - Inducted 1990
Eddy Mark Shaske began competing in trapshooting at a young age. In 1969 at twelve years old, he was named the City of Edmonton Junior Champion and the Alberta Provincial Sub Junior Champion from 1969 to 1971. By the mid-1970s, he began competing at the national and international levels. From 1978 to 1981, he was a member of the Canadian World Shooting Team and competed in France, Belgium, Italy, Korea, and Argentina. Among his many accomplishments, he placed first in the 1980 British Grande Prix in North Wales and second in the 1980 Brazilian Grand Prix held in Rio de Janeiro. Eddy Mark Shaske was inducted into the Edmonton Sports Hall of Fame in 1984.
