Guy Cormier

Guy Cormier has been reporting sports events for more than fifteen years. His unique contribution is his bilingual ability although his position with CBC French TV in Edmonton requires an emphasis on French. With the total world of sport as his beat, Guy Cormier demonstrates a soft spot for amateur sport -, particularly Track and Field where he currently is the only Canadian qualified to act as a bilingual announcer at International Track and Field competitions in Canada. Figure skating, amateur wrestling, synchronized swimming, skiing, and gymnastics are other sports, which receive his attention. In addition, Guy Cormier gives his time as a volunteer Track and Field coach and he serves on organizing committees for sporting events.
